Cycling Advocacy groups do some work, sadly a friend of mine got hit and killed by a car, the driver that was at fault could only say that she did not expect a bike on the road. This clearly have created me to personally strive for more awareness of cyclists on roads and to at least make the roads safer for any cyclist, recreationally or competitive. Many solutions that advocacy groups are working on are expensive and require pummeling them into local govermental bodies. The Kintetic Initiative was created for anyone and everyone to put in ideas that are not only cost-effective but so money raised for this caused is used where the people want it spent. Hopefully saving lives.
